Community/Sustainability interest

How are you a fashion brand with a community interest?

Being a CIC (Community Interest Company), we pledge to re-invest 70% of our profits back into community interventions in both low and high-income communities across the globe. All our designs in our AW21 Collection are based on the drawings of children from our Creative Arts Programme, hosted in collaboration with Aceso. Our aim is to build a creative and engaging environment as well as providing support for various communities.

How sustainable are your materials?

We use ethical materials by crafting with deadstock yarns and natural fibres (Wools, Cotton, Linen and eco-friendly/ recycled polyester) which helps us to increase the life and quality of our unique knitwear pieces.

What is your manufacturing process?

Operating on a small scale and managing our simple supply chains on a personal level allows us to get to know our manufacturers personally, and ensure an ethical and fair process. Our samples are produced in our Central London Studio and we have had our garments made in East London. In order to re-invest 70% of profits back to community interventions we needed to maximize our profit margins, so we had to look outside of the UK and turn to manufacturers in ethical Tarlabaşi factories. We are able to see first-hand how our garments are produced and offer full transparency to our customers.
